I was in a bind.

I was wondering whether I should go to my mother’s house and tell her that I was pregnant or wait until it started to show so she wouldn’t be very mad at me and only help me through it.

I knew it was wrong, but my mother was a very dramatic person. She liked to make big deals out of small situations so who knew what she would do with a deal as big as this.

She was surely going to ask about the man and I just didn’t know how to tell her that I was sleeping with my boss while he had a wife and his wife found out so he divorced her, then I found out I was pregnant but we were not on good terms so I didn’t know what exactly he thought about it. That didn’t exactly sound smooth, did it?

I was still in my room pacing around when I heard my phone ring. For a second, I feared my mom somehow heard my thoughts and was calling me but it turned out to be George.

He had made me unblock his number on Monday when he accompanied me for the check-up. It had been thre
