After a few minutes, Celine composed herself and pulled away from the embrace. Alexander wiped her tears away with his thumb.

"I'm sorry you had to go through that, Celine. I promise you that I will talk to Isabella and sort things out," Alexander said.

Celine shook her head.

"No, Alexander, please don't. It's not necessary. I don't want to cause any trouble between you and her," Celine said, wiping her tears away.

"But she can't just come here and insult you like that. It's not right," Alexander said, frowning.
