Alexander's POV

I stood right at the door of the ward and stared at the cause of all I had been through in the last few hours. She was the reason for the condition I was in, she was the reason my marriage was going to be cancelled.

I would be glad if it was just cancelled, but I was never going to get married again, my wife was gone, my Emily might or might never be back to me again, she was on the sick bed, she was in coma, and she might never open those beautiful eyes of hers again.

Looking at that woman, all I could feel was rage, I wanted to move closer to her and strangle her to death, I wished I could just end her life.

I wanted to ruin her just like she ruined my life, she destroyed everything I had, my life was meaningless without Emily.

I could still remember how happy and glad I was when Emily broke the news about her pregnancy, she told me that we were going to have a baby, I was going to become a father, we were going to have a son, but all that, all those dreams were cut off by this woman.

She made my life miserable once again, she destroyed all I dreamt about, I wanted to watch my son grow, but she killed her, she killed my son and destroyed my little family, she deserved to be killed too.

If they hadn't call Emily, she wouldn't have left me in a hurry, she wouldn't have been hit by that car, and she would never have been in that condition she was.

She would never have been in the situation where she had to battle for a life, a situation where no one was sure if she was ever going to wake up.

After loosing my son to that accident which was caused by this woman on the bed, I also had to deal with the fact that I might also loose my wife to be, she might die too, and I will be left with nothing.

Our wedding ceremony was supposed to be the next day, but the fact was I didn't know when it was going to happen, be it a week, a month, two months, or even years, I couldn't tell if it was ever going to happen, this woman on the bed has already destroyed everything.

"Please save me," she pleaded and raised her hand.

I was never going to save someone who killed my son and put my fiancee in a very critical condition, she deserves to die, there was no way out for her.

I walked to the bed and cleared by throat before I said, "Serves you right," she looked up at me and her eyes widened, like she had seen me before, "You should just die," I fumed.

She stretched out her hand but I moved away from her, "Please... please save...please save me," she pleaded again, "I am dying," she said and I could see a tear drop from her eyes.

"Yeah, you should just die," I glared at her, "You deserve to die for what you did to me and my family, just die and stop trying."

"I will...I will do whatever you want...you..," she stopped and coughed, but it was blood. I quickly moved away from her, "Just... please..please save me," she pleaded.

I felt pity on her, just a bit because my revenge overshadowed it, I stared at her for few minutes as different thoughts raced through my head.

I got an idea almost immediately, it wasn't fun by just letting her die, and I would continue to live in the pain for losing my loved ones forever. I would have to deal with the pain and torture of seeing Emily in that same condition everytime.

Letting her die won't make me get my revenge, but saving her and making her die bit by bit after that would feed my revenge.

I laughed, such a great thought, "I will save you," I announced, "But you will do whatever I want," I added and she nodded immediately, she didn't even give it a thought before doing that.

I stepped back from her, "Fine then," I said and dipped my hand into my pocket, I brought out my phone and rang my manager, "Hey Bryan, it's late, I know, but just draft a contract agreement form for me, or maybe one of the ones we have," I instructed, "Meet me at the City's hospital," I added.

"I will be there in five," Bryan responded and I dropped the call.

I turned back to her, "Make sure you are still alive when I get back here," I said to her before turning to the door, I headed outside where I was going to get the form from Bryan.

"Sir, sir," I heard the nurse calling and running after me, "You still haven't signed the form, and the hospital bills too," she said and looked up at the wall clock, "We have just few minutes, or she might lose her life," she was pretty worried.

"She won't die," I smiled, "I will be back in five," I said to her and stumbled out of the hospital.

After waiting for few minutes in front of the hospital, Bryan car parked beside me and he alighted, "Here you go," he said and looked around, "But why do you need a contract agreement form in an hospital?," he asked.

Aside from being my manager, Bryan was also my friend, we grew up in the same neighborhood, "Well, that will be later," I said to him and turned to the door.

"Hey husband to be," he called and I stopped, my body suddenly began to shake again, "You don't look like you will be getting married tomorrow, did you get dumped," he laughed.

Bryan was the type to make a joke out of everything, "I was just joking man, I will see you in the church tomorrow," he added and I could hear his car buzzing off.

Church?, what church?, there was no church, no wedding, how was I supposed to get married without Emily.

Everyone thought that my marriage was still going to hold, but none knew the disaster that befell me in the last minute.

I sniffled and wiped the lone tear that fell off my face, I walked back into the hospital and headed for her ward.

I had picked up at pen from the counter before I got into the ward, I penned down my own signature and handed it over to her on the bed.

She tried to get up, it was hard for her, but I didn't care, the only way to feed my revenge was seeing her in pain like I was.

She finally signed the contract and handed it back to me, "Thanks... thanks for saving me," she stuttered.

I rolled my eyes are her, "Now I will make you die a more painful death, and that's a promise," I said to her and headed back to the counter where I signed the consent form and also cleared the bills.

I stood outside the hospital and waited to catch a taxi back to where I left, the hospital, where I was going to meet my beloved Emily, my fiancee, in the same condition again.
