Suspicion

After going home by bus, Clara planned to go to bed because she was exhausted. After a long day, she couldn’t do anything anymore. That was Clara’s intention, but when she got home, she found her parents arguing.

Clara’s father Albert Blair and her mother Glenda Blair quarreled. When she returned, they did not know.

“Talk little if you know nothing. I told you I’m going out for work and not meeting any other woman you’re making such a fuss about.” Albert Blair said. His face was red, perhaps because he was so angry that his face became like that.

“You lie all the time, so I won’t trust you anymore. We should be more honest with one another. Where did you go? What did you do? Don’t say you go to work because I won’t believe it, I called your colleague to ask. Your co-worker said you took the day off.” Glenda Blair scolds her husband. Compared to Albert Blair’s anger, Mrs. Glenda’s anger was nothing more than that.

“What? Do you call my colleagues? Who permitted you to do that?”
