Chapter 71 | Good Luck

We took Nadia to the pack hospital as fast as we could. She wasn't in horrible shape, but the doctor said that she and her wolf were exhausted from the long journey they took. The doctor suspects that she'll be unconscious for at least a day if not longer.

I hope it won't take that long. I have the feeling something horrible must've happened for her to come out this way and run her wolf so hard.

Christopher doesn't want to leave her side and I encourage him to stay near her. I know it will help him feel better, but it will also help her recover quicker being in her mates presence. It's been over 8 hours since we brought her here and Christopher hasn't slept a wink. His dad says, "Hey son, how about you go get us some coffee?"

He snaps at him, "I don't want to leave her."

His dad softens his tone, "You'll only be gone a couple of minutes. Please, son, get out of the room for a minute. Stretch your legs."
