CHAPTER SIXTY-ONE

After Alan left Ashley’s room, she sat still in that corner crying profusely. She had expected this outcome from him but she refused to acknowledge that he would act this way.

Ring Ring

Ashley stirred turning towards the other side and continued sleeping but the ringing tone became much louder waking her from her sleep.

Stretching, she searched for her phone using the direction of the sound, clutching her phone she sat up to answer it.

“Hello,” She replied groggily, groaning silently in pain because of the stiffness of her body.

“Thank goodness you picked up, I have called you over twenty-fives times and if you didn't pick up this one time I was going to storm into that house,” Drea said sharply.

“I was sleeping, I didn't even know my phone rang,” She said sluggishly, yawning.

“What happened Ashley? you don't sound good” Drea asked, concern laced in her tone.

Ashley chuckled sadly “Well, everything happened. He knows now, "she said.
