CHAPTER SIXTY-THREE

“Ashley, why are you crying?” Her mother asked, looking worried.

“Babe, what’s wrong?” Alan asked Ashley, pulling her into a hug.

Whispering he said “If you say anything to your mother you will hate me” This made Ashley tremble.

Breaking from the hug Alan smiled saying “ She has become very emotional since she became pregnant”

Alan's mom smiled and said “ It is normal to be emotional when you are pregnant, it comes with the hormones”

Wiping her tears and smiling “ I don't know it happens most times” Ashley pouted.

Ashley's mom scanned her for a while. She knew that there was something wrong with her daughter but she could not pinpoint what it was.

“I will speak to her later,” Ashley's mom thought.

“Mom, what's all these you both brought with you?” Ashley pointed, disrupting her mother's thoughts.

“Oh we brought food and some baby clothes,” Her mom said

“Mom, we don't know the gender of the baby yet,” Ashley smiled.
