“I’m sorry that we had to cut our trip short, Maia,” Clyden said while holding my hand.

“Don’t be sorry. We’ve been gone for so long, and I’m also worried about grandma Edith’s health.”

We had just arrived back in Haven city, and we were currently driving towards the hospital. The moment Jasmine said that grandma Edith had collapsed, we unhesitatingly checked out of the hotel and booked a plane ride home. We had a 14-hour flight, and I could feel myself getting tired.
