Chapter 31 - Leaving and returning to her hometown...

“I’m not here to sit and drink with you.” Liz rolled her eyes at him and crossed her arms over her chest.

He arched an eyebrow at her as though seriously askance. “Why are you here then?”

Liz’s mouth dropped open. “What?”

“I asked you to come here to have a drink with me.”

“I won’t have a drink with you –”

“Uh-huh,” he raised a hand to stop her. “Don’t forget that I haven’t told your grandparents about your whereabouts yet. If you don’t listen to me, I’ll tell them about it.”

“Are you threatening me right now?” She couldn’t believe her eyes.

He just shrugged in response.

Liz hated the guts of this guy and to think she was ever friends with him, disgusted her.

She proceeded to take a seat in the couch opposite his but she was stopped by him. “Not there, here,” he pointed at the couch he was sitting on.

“I’ll sit here,” Liz argued with him.

Ivan snatched his phone off the table between them all while holding her gaze and then asked with a smug smirk, “Are you sure you want to do that?”
