Ember took her phone and looked for her mother's number. She was the only one that she could think of at that moment because she had nowhere to go if she left. Her old apartment was already occupied and she didn't think of getting herself a house while still living with Axle because she didn't think that a day like this would come. A day when she had to leave this place and probably never come back. As soon as her eyes landed on it she called it. Her father was in prison and her mother had finally reunited with Robert so her siblings were staying with her.

"Hello?" Catherine said.

"M-mom…" She was still crying, she couldn't stop herself from crying, even though she wanted to sound strong when talking to her mother.

"Ember, what's wrong? Are you crying?" She asked. Ember wiped her tears, but more tears just kept on falling from her eyes.

"Mom, can you come and pick me up tomorrow morning?" She asked.

"Why, what's wrong?"

"I'll tell you everything later, just come and pick me up early
