Ava's POV

The whole incident with the strange woman, whose name was Anita, got me quite agitated, but thankfully, Tom handled everything so well.

Once the priest was done blessing our marriage, we made our way to the reception hall.

Fortunately, we arrived at the reception in about twenty minutes because there was very light traffic and OMG!! I had never seen anything like it. It was like a fairy tale.

The grand ballroom was filled with opulence and grandeur, the likes of which I had never seen before. The walls were draped in silk, and chandeliers hung from the ceiling.

Servers were all over the place serving champagne and hors d'oeuvres, and a string quartet played in the corner.

The guests were all dressed in their finest clothes, and even the press were there, eager to get a glimpse of Tom and I.

As we walked through the hall, I could feel everyone's eyes on us.

I must look like a princess in my white gown, my veil trailing behind me.
