Katie's POV

I was going through my mail when I saw a letter with a return address I didn't recognize. Curiosity piqued, I opened it and found a letter from a woman named Emma. Emma claimed to be a long-lost relative and wanted to reconnect with me. I was hesitant at first, but the more I read her letter, the more intrigued I became.

I decided to reach out to her and set up a meeting at a local coffee shop. As I walked in, I scanned the room, looking for anyone who resembled the woman in the photo she had sent me. It didn't take long before a woman waved at me from a corner table.

"Katie?" she asked as I approached.

I nodded and sat down across from her. "Emma, it's nice to finally meet you," I said, extending my hand.

Emma smiled and shook my hand. "Likewise. Thank you for agreeing to meet with me."
