It had been two weeks since Cassidy returned home with Leah's help, but Bernard was still unable to retrieve the company's shares from Raymond.

The family of four sat in the luxurious room. Cain was in his usual seat, engrossed in his phone. Cassidy occupied the other black sofa, busy chatting with Luke, whom she had spent the past two weeks with. Bernard, their father, was engrossed in jotting down some notes in his memorandum book, while Leah sat beside him, sneakily trying to read what he was writing.
