Chapter 65 - Battle the Rogues

Ciara's POV

The attack came at us like a tidal wave of furious fangs and claws. Many of the rogues shifted into their wolves while others extended their claws to attack. A mixture of skin and fur charged around the slimy leader while he stood unmoving. A sickly smell of festering wounds and bad hygiene invaded our senses as we fought against the rising sea of rabid rogues. They were foaming at the mouth, hungry for battle and flesh, which mirrored in their glowing eyes. This was one fight we could not lose. If we wanted to survive, we would have to fight as if it was our last chance at life.
