“Good night, Auddie.”
Nathan shifted towards her to pat her head. After pulling over the car to the side several times because of the heavy rain, he successfully drove her safely back to the villa.
“Good night. Drive safe,” she responded before getting off the car and ran to the door with her hands on her head. She knew it was silly but at least she tried not to get her head extremely wet, or she had to take a shower to avoid getting sick. She didn't like taking a shower at night. But when she saw her mother-in-law stepping out the door with an umbrella on her hands, Audrey knew it was too late to pace back to avoid bumping the elderly. The surface was slippery and she was wearing heels too. She had known that falling down was the only option to save Mrs. Vargas from an incoming disaster. “Oh!” She gasped as she fell.
