Her cheeks burnt in embarrassment. She tried to get up but he kept her on his lap.

"The heck you're doing, Adrian. Someone will come here," she scoffed but he worried his face into the crook of her neck.

"So what? They will also get to know about how precious my personal assistant is to me," he rasped. Melanie didn't want to feel those tingles inside her tummy but she couldn't help it.

"Let me go, Salvatore before I punch you in the face," she growled. He chuckled and pecked her neck.

"On condition. Eat with me," he pulled back a bit. She frowned.

"No, thanks. I'm not hungry,"

"Really? But how do you survive without eating for days? Are you planning on flying in the air, Mrs Salvatore?" He teased her but then saw her face turn gloomy. She stopped struggling and looked at that food on the table.
