Chapter 41: Here Comes Trouble
"It's been two days and Harvey hasn't said a word," Rosie chews her lip, " He really thinks he doesn't need anyone. It's ridiculous."
"Yeah, I know. He's bullheaded," These past two days Atticus has been trying to change Harvey's mind, but it was looking like a no-go. Harvey just wouldn't budge despite his situation. What was it going to take to make him see reason?
I wrap my arm around Rosie's shoulder as we round the corner of the house. She wanted to be in the backyard, in case Harvey had an epiphany. Suddenly Rosie halts, "Who is that?" she points, I follow her gesture to a female coming towards us in a royal blue robe.
"She isn't part of the pack?" I asked.
"No. She seems to be from another one," Rosie says. The female stops before us, "Hello," she dips her head slightly. "I'm sorry to disturb you, " she removes her hood, revealing her porcelain-like face, complimented by ink-black hair.
"My name is Moraya. I'm from Harvey's late-pack."
