I hear my mother calling all the way from the kitchen. I look up at the clock and see that it is already past 7. It is weird for my mother to be up at this time.

I walk over to the kitchen and see that she is standing next to a bunch of red flowers.

"My, my, dad is feeling romantic today." My mother gives a scoff.
