I take Serana in my arms out of the restaurant and take her up to the room. Everyone is quiet at the revelation. The door opens and in walks Lara. I growl and place Serana gently down on the sofa. Turning, I move fast and grab her around her throat and slam her into the wall beside the door.

She doesn’t fight or scream, she just looks at me with those icy blue eyes.

“Why? Why didn’t you ever say anything? Serana is going to be hurt that you betrayed her trust. So tell me Lara, if that is your real name. Why?” I step closer to her and she looks up at me with tears streaming down her cheeks.
