Chapter 26

Jason slumped back, overwhelmed by a sense of defeat, fearing he had just lost his wife. First his mate, and now this. His mother reassured him they would resolve the issue and that he wouldn't lose his wife over this predicament.

Jason gazed at his mother, expressing his hopelessness, "If I lose my wife and children, I can't imagine continuing in this world." His grandmother scolded him, saying such drastic thoughts were unnecessary. He turned to his grandmother, despairing, "What am I supposed to do with my life? I've lost my first mate, and now my wife has left me, taking our children. Without them, life means nothing."

A few hours later….

Krystal contacted a group of witches she believed could assist them with Jason's plans. Upon their arrival, the witches spoke with each individual to gain an understanding of the situation they were entering. They recognized that each person has their perspective on the story; not to suggest that anyone is incorrect, but rather to acknowledge
