I cried and cried hard after I rejected my husband. I heard his car driving off. He left, he kept his promise. My eyes began to sting after crying for hours but the pain didn't subside. It intensified even more.

I laid back on my bed which felt cold because I had grown habituated to sleep in my husband's arms.
