"She is not, I promise. We should head over to the estate. Your father's asking to see you," Jude said.

"No wonder she's been giving me cold shoulders. Get Emily in here so she can use the bathroom and change. I've ordered a dress which would be here in a few minutes. I don't want dad asking me questions," I said and stood up from my chair.

"Don't forget to inform her that I already left the office and I'll be waiting at the parking lot so she can put her mind at rest. She might start getting silly thoughts," I added and exited the office with Jude tagging behind me.

I arrived at Father's estate with Emily. She had been quiet all through the drive while I chatted with Jude about work. She kept staring out through the window which made me wonder if she ever got neck pain.
