Talk about the highest level of embarrassment. I had just made a fool of myself right in front of my crush. He ran over to me and helped me up. I had a small scratch on my knees and I was more grateful because I had no bruise on my face. That would destroy the entire holiday.

Leo carried me back in bridal style into our suite. He quickly got first aid and applied an ointment on the spot. I bowed my head so I could avoid his eyes. He began to laugh when he realized my whole face was flushed due to the shame of falling on my face.

“I’ll pretend I didn’t see anything so you can look at my face,” he said. His comment made me feel worse and I stood up abruptly.

“I… We… Are we still touring the resort today? Or I can just rest in the room,” I said in one breath. It was quite obvious that I wanted to avoid him.

“What about going scuba diving?” he asked.
