Chapter 42
Shirley woke up the next morning feeling a slight headache, she looked at the watch on the bedside and it was sharp seven, she was used to waking up by seven, and no matter how late she slept, she always wakes up by that time even without an alarm. She groaned when she remembered what kept her awake till past one and after staying up that late, she still didn't get any useful information from him. She was tempted to wake him up and ask him about last night but she resisted. She decided she was going to sleep a little more so she snuggled closer to him, then sighed in content after closing her eyes.
An arm snaked around her waist and his head burrowed itself onto her shoulder. A sleepy murmur left him as he tucked his legs over hers.
"Morning, why are you awake by this time?" he rumbled sleepily with his eyes still closed.

Robert stayed in the kitchen and watched as his housekeeper prepared his meal in a haste.
