"I can't just give you my blessings like that..."
"So, you are against it then?" Robert asked in shock his eyes widening in surprise.
"What I mean is that I can't give you my blessings and I'm not against it also, you can do whatever you deem fit. Giving you my blessings would mean I would have to listen to all your complaints when or if the need arises. To summarize it all, I am on a neutral ground, I won't kill you or break any of your bones if you decide to accept her, and I won't exactly jump or dance for joy if you decide to reject her". Zane said.
"Ooh, I get now. At least that is something, you should have explained it well from the beginning" Robert said.
"You would have gotten it the first time if you did not so rudely interrupt me," Zane said raising his eyes at him.
"I really can't believe it" Robert muttered to himself but it was loud enough for Zane to hear.

Robert stayed in the kitchen and watched as his housekeeper prepared his meal in a haste. He knew that his presence in the kitchen was making his housekeeper nervous but he couldn't bring himself to leave.
