ARIA'S POV:

I had just barely arrived Zilam and had already been frustrated due to the lack of answers and level of secrecy that the elders had been giving. And to top it all Darcy!!

I felt like punching something. I just needed to take my anger out on anything.

Back in my room, I screamed into my pillow. It did not help one bit. I wanted to yell but that would attract the attention of the guards and servants. And the last thing I wanted, was company at anything of such sort.

I had been scorned and humiliated once again by thee very one person I had put my trust in. If someone had asked me to bet my life on the generalization that Darcy would always stand by me and never betray me, I would have bet it without a second thought.

Still trying to calm myself down, I poked my head out of the open window in my room. The sun had risen but was not yet high up in the sky.
