I stared at him with wide eyes.
"Be ready tomorrow morning, ten sharp."
"I didn't agree yet!"
A smirk tugged up at the corner of his mouth. "You don't have a choice, Love. Remember, you're here for your friend?"
This time I scowled in the open. "This is blackmailing!"
Letting out a chuckle, he wrapped his arms around my waist. "You know, you look adorable when you're mad?"
He pecked my nose, sending butterflies to my tummy. And like that, I melted into a puddle in his warmth.
I should have been mad at him for forcing me into a date, but I wasn't. I should have pushed him away, but instead, I leaned into his arms.
