A growl left my chest as I looked around me: a never ending forest. It was impossible to find a way out of it, no matter how hard I tried. All the trees looked similar, but new at the same time.

I sighed, stopping for a minute to catch my breath. I had to find a way to go back to her. The one that the Goddess gave me to protect and love. I missed her so much.

I wiped the sweat layer that coated my forehead before lifting my eyes towards the sky. “End my life or let me get back to her,” I screamed angrily from the top of my lungs, hoping that whatever god was there would have mercy.

I shook my head defeated, as I forced myself to walk. One more step and maybe, just maybe, this time, I would find the right path.
