CHAPTER 38

Grayson treated Maya like a precious porcelain for the next few days, making sure that she won’t be caught unaware to prevent adding more trauma from the accident she had went through. The accident had even made her paranoid for the first two days, closing all the black-out curtains inside their room especially when he told her the initial report from the investigation police.

Adding to that, Maya has been having nightmares in her sleep and she would wake up crying in the middle of the night or early in the morning. The only thing that he could do is console her.

She even refused to leave their room and the two of them had been eating their meals inside despite Grayson, not preferring that set-up as well as the fact that she only has a small appetite, barely touching her food.
