The group of hunters surrounded William with smirks on their faces and weapons glinting in the sun. Glancing back at the young girl cowering against the tree behind him, he crouched lower, exposing his sharp canines in warning. There were three of them and only one of him, but his confidence never wavered, instead, his anger rose as one of the men leered at the young girl over Will’s shoulder. “Get him.” The biggest one of the group ordered and simultaneously the other two rushed forward, ready to attack. The one closest to him swung a silver machete at his face which Will dodged easily and took the man’s stumbled as an opportunity to grip his calf and with maniacal strength, he wracked his head, flinging the man into the other approaching body.
