CHAPTER-4

"Have you seen him yet?"

"No. Your boy is nowhere to be seen."

Dinara sighed and looked at her best friend Leigh with sad eyes. "He didn't come today as well," she whispered grimly.

"He is not the only handsome man on earth, Dia. Don't go gaga all over him just because he saved you from some eve teasers. You will find someone better than him. Stop sulking and enjoy the music and drinks." Leigh commented, rolling her eyes.

Dinara bit her lower lip from inside while glancing toward the entry gate. That man couldn't leave her mind since that day. She sighed as once again her hope died when her eyes didn't see him.

Leigh shook her head when she watched Dinara's eyes on the entrance gate once again. "I have seen enough of your sulking, not anymore. Come let's have some drinks and let yourself lose." She held Dinara's hand and pulled her to the bar area.

The same place she met the man she fell in love with. At least she calls it love at first sight while her friend calls it a good sexual encounter and nothing else.

"Here, take this Beer and gulp it in one go. I swear you will forget your weeks of sulking by the end of tonight." Leigh offered her.

Dinara looked at the drink in her hand and opened her mouth to deny it but the look on Leigh’s face stopped her. So she took the beer glass and gulped it down like milk in one go.

"That's like my brave girl. Now it's time for another drink," Leigh motivated her to drink more and more. And after five glasses of beer, Dinara was in a lighter mood. So when Leigh asked her to join her on the dance floor she happily went there.

She danced like there was no tomorrow. Her feet met the high and fast beats of the music.

"You were right, Leigh. It feels like I am on top of the world," she screamed over the high music as she rolled her hips inward, shaking her body alongside her friend.

Leigh smirked. "Told you! Now the only thing left is to find you a handsome and sexy hunk." She screamed and took Dinara to a group of men she was chatting with earlier. Two boys, both from rich families. Dinara wanted to stop her friend but knew that she would end up hearing another lecture from her. So she went with her with the thought that maybe she would find someone better than him.

Leonus frowned when his eyes went to the woman he met a few weeks ago in the same bar. Today, she was flirting with some other man.

"Leonus?" Aria's voice turned his head towards her. "What are you looking at? You seem lost."

"Nothing important. Let's go,business is waiting for us." He gestured at the door of the owner.

Aria nodded and moved towards the office door of Finn McGrath. He was sitting on his chair with a few men there. A few uniformed men. She knew one of them, Detective Saint.

Aria let out an irritating sigh. "Tell me it's not what I am thinking it is."

Leonas shook his head. "It is. The man has called the Cops on us," he confirmed what she was seeing.

"The Idiot!"

Aria moved further into the room with Leonas behind her. "I am disappointed in you, Mr Cameron," she said, sighing and eyeing the cops standing behind him.

"See officer, how they are trying to rob my club from me."

Aria smirked. "What are these officers going to do, Finn? Are they going to arrest me?" She asked, looking into his eyes with fake fear.

Finn Cameron frowned when the officers stood silently and walked towards the brother and sister duo. He snapped his head to the Detective standing beside them. "Why are you not arresting them?"

"Because I work for them, Finn. Not only me but eighty percent of the cops are in Velenoso's pocket," the Detective informed him.

Finn paled and Aria smiled at the detective’s words. "Even the senator works for Cosa Nostra. You are fighting a losing battle here, Finn. Your club has become the hub of drug deals that didn't come under Cosa Nostra. This is hurting our business. And I don't tolerate things or people who hurt Cosa Nostra's business."

"I will go to court…"

"Go to court or the governor of New York, but no one will help you," she placed her hands on the table and got into his face. "I didn't want to use violence but you left me no other option. So tell me how you want to be dealt with. One: I will ask my brother…" she said pointing a finger to her back referring to Leonus. "...To have your family at gunpoint while you sign the deal of this club to me and second, I will give Detective Saint proof of your alliance with the Irish mafia. How politely you are helping them to resurface their wings back in New York, Finn. So stop toiling for them or I swear you are going to get wounded badly. You will lose on both accounts. Personal and professional. Death of your family or A prison? The choice is yours."

His eyes widened in fear and his complexion turned even paler. Aria sharpened her eyes and repeated, not wasting her time, "Tell me what you want to do, Finn?"

Finn looked at Leonus, his stone face and angry eyes scared him. His eyes then went to the Detective standing beside him. His bowed head ended the last hope Finn had. "Fine. I will sell my Club." He cried resignedly.

Aria smirked. "You may leave, Detective. This idiot man wasted your time for nothing." The detective bowed his head to Aria and Leonus as he left from there.

Leonus moved further and stood beside Aria. "I hope you still have the sale papers my lawyer sent you."

Finn swallowed and nodded. "Yes."

"Good. Sign them, Now." Aria ordered him and the man followed her order immediately.

"Now get out of my club. Your stuff will be delivered to you tomorrow by my men," she snapped when he capped the pen and raised his eyes to Aria.

The man ran out of the office like his ass was on fire. Leonus chuckled seeing him. "You are a dangerous woman, Aria. I am glad you are my sister and not my enemy."

Aria's eyes were fixed on the boss's chair. She wants to sit on the boss's chair no matter which place she goes. She was born to rule and not follow. Aria Salvatore Knight was Born to be a Queen.

A Mafia Queen!

She circled the desk and took her seat on the chair before looking at her brother. "I don't pity my enemies. When it comes to rivals, it's either kill or get killed. And trust me, brother, I don't want to get killed. You are lucky you are my brother and not my enemy. Because I destroy them in the most brutal way possible." Aria stated but her mind suddenly went to a pair of ocean blue eyes and an angry shiver ran down her body. Her next target was that man.

Aleksandr Fedorov! She was going to slay that man herself, Personally and with all the hate that He had evoked in her after a single meeting.

Leonas stared at his sister for a long time. There was nothing but anger and a hint of blood in her eyes. He sighed, his mother's hopes for Aria were dying every single day. Aria gave her soul to the Mafia and their mother hates it to the core. Somehow his family was also the reason behind it.

Leonus couldn't see his mother getting depressed like that so He promised her that he would always stand by his sister, no matter what. But seeing her like this, even he was worried for her.

She had made Cosa Nostra the aim of her life. As if nothing else mattered in front of her. Nothing.

"Shall we leave?" He asked when Aria stood up from her chair. "Yes. This will send the right message to the Irish and the Russians. They lost New York many years ago. I don't want any skeletons coming to life from their graveyards in my reign. What's buried will remain buried."

She was doing her role perfectly, handling the Russians and Irish side by side.

"It will." He gestured towards the door. Aria walked out of the office and Leonus followed her. His eyes went to the dance floor for a moment. The girl he noticed has already left the dance floor. He could guess where she might have gone too. He shook his head, a whore made Leonas Knight turn his head, he chuckled at the thought and left for his car where his sister was waiting for him.

"Are you alright, Dinara?" Leigh asked when she threw up for the third time. "I feel queasy, Leigh. The beer, I am not having that horrible thing again. See what it did to me!" She cried as her muscles clenched to throw up but only ended up having dry heaves this time.

Leigh sighed. "You have been throwing up for the past two days. Don't blame it on the beer. I also had it and I am fine."

Dinara rolled her eyes. "Well! lucky you!" She said standing up with shaky legs and moving to the wash basin. She brushed her mouth twice before moving out of the bathroom. "Don't tell me you are drinking beer again, Leigh. I feel like throwing up again."

"Oh shut up, you are talking as if you are pregnant…" Leigh stiffened. "Fuck!" She muttered as her eyes fixed on her best friend.

Dinara froze upon hearing her words. "No!" She whispered, her gaze automatically went to her belly. She recalled the night in the club two weeks ago.

"Dinara? You…. You used protection right?" Leigh asked, standing up abruptly. Her eyes wide in horror.

Dinara raised her eyes and met her friend's gaze. How could she have thought about these things when it was her first time? She was in a rush then. Her face turned pale and horror filled her eyes as she answered the question. "No."
