Chapter 54

I was holding my breath when the giant started to roam his eyes all over the place to search where Blode is hiding.

I cursed to myself, thinking that he had no where else to go. The door is closed. There’s no window inside. Everything is sealed and the only thing you can go in and out of this room is through the door.

The giant narrowed his one eye while scanning the whole place. I have a feeling he could smell Blode’s scent because his nose keeps on sniffing when his body automatically turns towards the pillow. I bit my tongue when the giant raised his hands and was about to grab the pillow to see what’s underneath when I yelled.

“Ouch!”

The giant immediately halt, glancing at me from the corners of his eye to see what’s wrong.

“I-I couldn’t move my shoulder.” I seek, pointing at my right one.

The giant was watching me closely underneath that horrifying gaze. I prayed silently while hoping Blode could escape under the pillow while I am buying him some time. If both of us gets caught.
