Mercedes stood in front of the mirror inspecting her appearance. She twisted and turned trying to get a good look from each angle and ran her palm on the fabric of her dress. Her dress was a contrast sequin one shoulder with a mesh overlay hem. She nodded her head in appreciation loving how she looked. She could not recognize the woman in the reflection of the mirror. The night was still young. Felix and Mercedes, we're having the time of their lives. They excused themselves to take a walk together. Hand in hand they strolled further away from where the celebration was. Felix took off his suit and placed it over Mercedes's shoulders. Not that she was feeling cold because werewolves hardly ever get cold but it was a gentlemanly thing to do and he wanted to take care of her. She thanked him and smiled. Felix and Mercedes were sitting across from each other in his office. The situation had stabilized and Alexa was fine but just still unconscious. Earlier, when Felix was about to tell Mercedes the truth about her fate, Crystal and Jacob arrived and interrupted their conversation. Crystal tended to Alexa's wounds and Jacob carried her away to the guest room. Now they were left alone but the tension was thick it could be cut with a knife.
