23. Ken's POV

I walked across the garden on the east side of Blackmoon Castle with my palms up to cover my face from the sun.

The sun was currently at the peak of its heat.

A few steps later I was in front of the door of a room on the east side of Blackmoon Castle.

Blackmoon's beta pack greeted me at the doorway. "They're waiting, Ken."

I nodded slowly. Then, I entered the room and saw that the royal officials were already seated in chairs surrounding the large, long table in the center of the room.

And I heard the sound of the door to the room being closed by Beta.

They stood up as soon as they saw me.

"Sit down!" I ordered quietly.

They nodded obediently.

Then, I sat on the high-backed chair in the center of the table. I glanced at them for a moment. "You must already know what we're going to talk about in this meeting."

"Bluemoon," one of them said.

"Exactly!" I nodded slowly.

"And as usual, we're going to have a blue moon festival," said another person not to be outdo
