Rebecca's POV

"Tell me, Rebecca! Who's trying to do you harm?" Luke continued to hold both my shoulders and urged me to tell him everything.

"It's someone who intends to get rid of me. That's why before I was eliminated, I chose to leave first."

As I said that, my eyes accidentally met with Jack who was staring angrily at me. The Elder even made a gesture with his hand around his neck, as if it was a threat.

"What does that gesture mean? Is he threatening me?" I muttered to myself questioningly.

"What do you mean, Rebecca? There's someone in the Winterblood pack who intends to get rid of you? Who is he, huh? Tell me, let me punish him right now!" Luke said in a high voice again.

I saw that his face was already turning red. His hands were clenched tightly into fists, making some fine hairs start to emerge from the skin of his arms.
