It turns out I was really skilled at telling people what to do, so it was much easier for me to lead the pack than I had anticipated. Oh, right. However, despite how effective I was at "delegating," as Levi always referred to his demanding ways, there was still a ton of paperwork to process.

Due to Seth's excessively high chair, I wound up spending the majority of my time there, attempting to avoid passing out from boredom. Fortunately, my illness had passed, and the next day I was returning to my old Pack. Not only would I finally see Seth, but I would also get to brag to everyone from my former Pack.

Hey girl, are you prepared to leave this place? As she poked her head around the door, Shawna questioned. As I looked up at her, I sighed.

"Nah, I still have a ton of work to do. You may continue without me, I said.

Okay, I have to go shopping anyhow. I'll get some dinner supplies and perhaps some ice cream. You can always come and see me later at the mall.
