Chapter 38

Dean moaned, leaning back in his chair and belching unattractively. "I think I am going to throw up," he said.

I told him, "You're disgusting."

He responded, burping once more, "I don't think I have eaten so much in my life...like ever." However, I simply can't stop. He sighed in both ecstasy and satiety as he bit into his sixth churro. I leaned back and gave him the evil look.

As darkness fell, I was sitting in my garden on Levi's knee. The yard was illuminated by tiny fairy lights, and soothing Latin music filled the air. A few individuals were dancing mild salsa together while they sat around the garden drinking, eating, and conversing with one another.

I'd say the evening had been enjoyable. Even though it was the day before my birthday, which I had been anticipating, I didn't feel particularly motivated.
