BlueJaxon continued checking over my hands when Quinn and Xander left. The half moons from my nails had already healed but he was still wiping away the remnants of blood, taking his time. Making the most of me letting him touch me.I hadn’t told him yet that I didn’t mind him touching me anymore. The little sparks on my skin brought me comfort, just as his scent did. But he was always respectful, asking my permission before doing anything. Her face nestled in against my neck. She still hadn’t spoken, instead, choosing to remain quiet. I couldn’t find the words either. She had let me do something that no one else had. She could have pulled away, she could have said no, and yet she had allowed me to touch the very thing she hated.“I have to go to the toilet.” She whispers, making me laugh.
