Forty Three.

Blue

Jaxon’s hand rests on my thigh as he talks. It was strange. I always hated being touched, but in the last few days, he had wormed his way in. And now, his touch was oddly comforting.

His hand radiated heat. The warmth spreads through my clothes and into my skin. If it had been anyone else touching me, I would have frozen or lashed out. But I didn’t want to do any of those things.

It’s the mark. It’s messing with your head. Anika sleepily growls at me.

Thankfully Alpha Cyrus hadn’t managed to get much wolfsbane in me. Just enough to knock Anika out for a short while.

‘I don’t see you fighting it.’ I mutter back at her

A girl has needs. She smirks at me and I am done with the conversation. I was not even close to considering my needs.

“She’s not listening.” I hear Xander mutter

“Sorry, I was talking to Anika.” I push myself up and Jaxon’s hand falls from my thigh. He doesn’t replace it, and for some reason it annoys me. But I keep my mouth shut.

damn! so all 3 are good at lying, but blue is the only one that has reasons too. the twins are difficult to read. why is there such a difference in the marks and the feelings? Xander is getting more suspect and I don't trust ophelia at all!
