I stood at the window of my Packhouse, looking out over the daily activities of my Pack. The hustle and bustle of the Pack members going about their day is a familiar sight, but one that has taken on a different meaning in the wake of the recent war.

The smell of smoke and ashes still linger in the air, a reminder of the destruction we faced. The once proud banners of my Pack lay in tatters, the once-vibrant colors now dull and singed by the war. The ground is littered with the bodies of fallen warriors, their weapons discarded by their side. The sight of the devastation is a painful reminder of the cost of our defeat.

The Pack members move about with a sense of resignation, their faces showing signs of exhaustion and grief. Many are injured, their wounds bandaged and their steps slow and unsteady.
