91. What felt like eternity

ALPHA ASHER'S POV

I shifted into my wolf form, my senses heightened as I followed the trail. My nose led me through the woods, past trees and underbrush, as I slowly and cautiously approached the figure moving in the distance. I crept closer, my body tense as I prepared for the worst.

As I got closer, I could see that it was a wolf, just like me. I tensed, ready to pounce if necessary.

I continued to tread carefully as I approached the wolf. I took in its scent, and my heart raced with excitement as I realized this was the wolf I had been searching for. The culprit was right in front of me.

As I continued to advance, I noticed the scars across its body, marking its struggles and battles. I gazed into its eyes, trying to make out any familiarities. But, there was something that nagged at me, something familiar about this wolf that I couldn't place.
