As the sun began to set, I signaled for my men to stop. We found a clearing in the woods and set up camp for the night. I oversaw the building of a fire, choosing a spot that would provide adequate protection from any potential threats.

I sat apart from my men, my thoughts focused on the next day's journey. I knew we were getting closer to our pack and that we would need to be alert for any dangers. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, my senses attuned to the surrounding woods.

The thick forest was alive with the sounds of animals stirring in the night. The hoot of an owl echoed through the clearing, followed by the howl of a distant wolf. Crickets chirped in the background, creating a symphony of sounds that lulled us into a peaceful slumber.

As the night passed, the fire flickered and died down, leaving only the soft glow of the moon to light our camp. The woods were quiet now, with only the occasional snap of a twig or rustling of leaves to break the stillness.
