Chapter 50

Sandra helped her "new friend" climb off the wall.

"Be careful," she even went ahead to say. Amelia nodded and placed her foot on a rock that she saw while the other foot stayed hung in the air. She was trying to make it to the other side.

"So how long did you know this place we're headed to?"

Amelia made small talk. It was getting too quiet.

"Not too long ago. Maybe some seven to ten years ago"

She was calling 'seven to ten years' not long? What did she need? A century?

"Did you come here with someone or something?" She continued.

"Well, I came with someone. She was like you too. She loved the Alpha and I think the Alpha loved her a little"

Amelia gave her a concerned look. What Sandra said felt a little disturbing.

"And what did you guys do?" She continued again. This time, she had stopped moving and was standing at the other side of the puddle.
