Chapter 65

Amelia ran out of the house and into the woods with her belongings. The guard by the gate saw her and asked her why she was running but she preferred to keep it a secret.

"I have an urgent matter to attend to, I will be back soon enough".

The guard found it suspicious. Why would the Luna leave with as many boxes as he was seeing, for just a short errand?

"Are you perhaps wanting to hand these over to someone you know?"

Unknowingly, he gave Amelia an excuse to give to him.

"Yes," she looked down at her luggage. It was a large bag with two suitcases to pair with it.

She raised her head and smiled back at him, "It would only take a few minutes".

"But I heard that the alpha is back. Wouldn't you want to greet him?". He persisted.

"I said I would be right back. Who are you to question me?!!"
