Chapter 70

Amelia drove to the hospital for the fifth time in a row this week. She had her stomach in her hand as she dragged through the hallways with her exhaustion. She felt tired, bloated, and weak. It didn’t help that she was wolf-less. It was not easy carrying a wolf when you had not wolfed out by yourself.

“Come right this way, Madam” the kind nurse led her to the emergency ward. Her case was to be treated as urgent because of the amount of pain she was feeling.

“Do you have any family here?” they asked her. Amelia shook her head. She didn’t and the last thing she wanted was to bother Mr and Mrs Smith. They had done so much for her already.

“Please fill out this form”. The young nurse handed her a paper and a pen. “It’s your information and your consent form”.

She didn’t need to explain. It was boldly written on the top of the paper.
