Lady Sandra, what are you doing here?" A guard asked the alpha's former friend. Sandra shifted in her stance. She tried to shield the rogue from the guard's view.

The rogue sneered quietly while he waited for them to finish talking.

"He seems like a feast".

"I was not doing anything. I was just talking to myself. You know, one needs fresh air to be able to handle the pressure and in times like this, I come out to appreciate the beautiful skies. Don't you love it too?"

The conversation felt weird. Sandra was never too friendly with maids or guards. Even the guard felt uneasy.

"I'll be going now" he bowed to her and said.

"You should have let me eat him. He looked fresh and meaty. Why did you hide me?"

The rogue came up from behind her, he hissed at her as he watched the guard leave. "Such tasty legs".

Sandra cleared her throat, "I believe we are all done here. I have nothing more to say and I would like to go be with the alpha. Goodbye."

The rogue still held her back when she moved.

"I
