Chapter 67

Amelia sighed as she got out of the car. She smiled with her face in the air as the light showers of rain hit her skin.

“Where does this lead to?” she asked the kind stranger who had helped her off the highway.

“Up ahead leads to the Yolkwolf pack. Behind that is the Redsun pack.” He pointed way beyond the trees she was looking at.

“Are their people friendly?” The answer to that was her main problem. She wondered what they were like.

The stranger looked at her for a while and then smiled, “They are humans in that town. It's that safe".

It gladdened her heart, the news she received.

“Thank you and I promise I will repay you for your kindness”, she said as she walked away.

Amelia rolled her suitcase off the highway and walked in the direction she was staring.
