Handing me the cloth, she nodded and left. "I am going to make sure Zeebs death is slow and painful," I bit out as I carefully removed what was remaining of her burned clothes and cleaned her skin of the soot and blood that covered it, after I was finished, I covered her with a light blanket and drew the curtains that hung around the bed closed to give her privacy in case we had visitors.

No sooner had the curtains closed than my brothers burst into the room looking around wild-eyed. “Where is she? Is she ok?”

I nodded, “You know as well as I that she’d have to be rendered to ash before she would be considered dead. She’s regenerating but hasn’t woken up.”
