Chapter Fifty- Four (Anders)

I looked around my destroyed Livingroom and kitchen. Blood and debris were scattered everywhere, along with one of Zeebs men dead on the floor. I felt proud that she had killed him. Even outnumbered, she could put up a fight. Still, I should've been here to protect her.

Two men lay unconscious on the floor, it was a mistake for Zeeb to leave them behind. I mind linked with Shaw, "There are two men unconscious in my quarters. Send two trusted guards to retrieve them and take them to the dungeon."

"Right away."

What was my next move? I had to come up with something. There had to be something? I knelt and tied the men's hands together so they couldn't wake up and escape.

Ashina spoke in my head, “Zeeb is responsible for the guard trying to poison her. He is Alpha Kylen’s dad. If you have an ace in your sleeve, now is the time to use it. He is planning to execute her now. One of my friends has set out to contact a witch to free you. I will try to stall. Good luck.”
