Chapter Fifty Two

ELIAS’ POV

“I’m still surprised to see you here, Beatrice. It’s been a long while, you know.” I said, with a smile on my face.

“Exactly. It shouldn’t take too long to see you. I just missed my old friend, and thought to visit you.” Beatrice replied, and placed her hand on my shoulder, and we both stared at the beautiful scenery.

“So, what have you been up to, lately? Any thing you’re working on, or sort?” I asked, to keep the conversation going.

Then she turned to me with a wide grin.

“Well, I kind of found something I now love doing.” She said, excitedly.

“Really? Come on. Tell me. What is it?”

“I love painting, and making art. I can show you a few paintings I’ve done if you come to visit. I feel I’m going to start selling them out once I become a pro.” Beatrice uttered proudly.

“Wow. That’s great. If I see anyone that catches my eye, I could buy it.”

“I know you have a great taste. In fact, one of a critic. So, if you are enthralled by any of my works, I’m going to feel honored.”
